This weekly online training will equip you for carrying out the responsibility Jesus gave his followers to make disciples. It is interactive, oral-learner friendly and is built around personal and biblical storyweaving, engaging with God through Scripture. This adaptable conversational framework is locally sustainable and can be reproduced in diverse cultural contexts and in primary and local languages. The content covers basic Christian disciplines and “need to know” topics, introduces Scripture memory and prayer to help new believers as they begin their new story following Jesus. You will have a chance to practice what you learn using everyday situations that are applicable in the region you serve in. This training includes eight 90 minute sessions and out of class practices with your other training participants. Plan on an additional hour each week for an out-of-class practice.
