Weavers for Personal Evangelism
The Weavers approach to sharing the Good News about Jesus involves being immersed in Scripture, connecting well with God, and connecting well with people — wherever they are in their spiritual journey. It also involves being prepared to help them follow Jesus when they are ready for that. It’s all part of the biblical storyweaving approach to friendship evangelism.
Weavers for Personal Discipleship
Getting solidly grounded in Scripture in ways that address our stories is essential. Our blindspots, wounds, and dysfunctional beliefs, habits and expectations sometimes keep us from really hearing God speak through Scripture. Storyweaving is a type of spiritual formation that allows God to expose and heal these parts of our lives. Our approach begins with the basics, such as facing temptation, fear and idolatry, and goes on to help us learn to address any area of life through Scripture.
“From the Inside Out” for Healthy Relationships
Emotional and relational baggage often trips us up in life, keeping us from being all that we could be in Christ. The storyweaving approach to “emotionally healthy spirituality” helps us explore the lives of various Bible characters while also shedding the light of Scripture on our own life stories. As always, this training is designed for oral/interactive learning, and keeps Scripture at the center of the conversation in ways that can be used in any cultural context.
Speechless Moments
Have you ever felt taken by surprise and left speechless when someone tells you about a crisis in their life? Listening well is always an integral part of biblical storyweaving, but what about when someone needs assistance? How can storyweaving be helpful? “Speechless Moments: Helping People in Crisis Connect with God” is a very practical training for engaging with one another and with God —through Scripture— during crisis or persecution.
Thrive!
Thrive! enables us to weave Bible story conversations into everyday life to engage with issues such as identity, domestic abuse, suicide, and expectations for conforming to traditional practices.
MovieTrax
MovieTrax is about organically weaving conversations about movies, our lives, and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Although we do not look to secular movies to communicate the gospel, movie storylines often contain themes and elements that can pave the way toward sharing deeply from our own life stories and connecting those life stories with Scripture.

“Freedom Ascent” Addiction Recovery Support & More
Dysfunctional habits can ruin us, and the “idols" in our lives keep us from experiencing the freedom and joy that God has available for us. Freedom Ascent is a great way to work on addressing our vulnerabilities in the context of a supportive mini-community of recovery. We help people who desire to facilitate such communities to be personally prepared for such a ministry, develop the skills needed, and provide a network for ongoing leadership support.
