Our Work

Our team’s years of field experience in a variety of cross-cultural ministries — such as community development, medical services, bilingual education, literacy, native writer development, Bible translation, personal evangelism and discipleship — have led us to focus our resources and energy on biblical storyweaving as a foundation for effective service in a wide variety of ministries. Wherever people have conversations, storyweaving is appropriate!

The four areas for which we provide training, resources, and support services are: personal evangelism, personal discipleship, healthy spirituality, and addiction recovery. Within each area are a variety of types of training, and we are developing more.

All forms of training that we offer are designed especially for “oral learners” — people whose sense of identity, the ways they learn best, and their decision-making, is primarily relational. The training provides direct benefit for participants as well as equipping them to multiply the training with others.

The common element in all four of these is the “GPS” of biblical storyweaving conversations that address “Their Story, Our Story, God’s Story, and A New Story in our life with God.”

The various forms of participative training, coaching, and mentoring that we facilitate all help Christ-followers build vision and capacity for “planting seeds” as well as for going progressively deeper with God, even addressing addictions and vulnerabilities which are some of the most vexing challenges in life. We do not provide training to be professional counselors or clinicians, but rather to be wise and helpful friends who point people to the Lord Jesus and to resources for which he has equipped the global community of Christ-followers.

This is much more than a prescribed formula. It is about dynamically connecting well with God and people, and helping people to connect well with God, bringing Scripture to the center of attention in ways that are timely for personally relevant application.
