Olayiwola

Olayiwola is the first official Training Partner of Storyweavers Global in Africa.  After years of serving in church mobilization for Great Commission ministries, Olayiwola has discovered that biblical storyweaving is the perfect complement to church mobilization for mission so that Christ-followers then have transferable tools for outreach and discipleship in any missional service.

“Storyweaving has given me a deeper understanding of the Bible and how it applies to my daily living.  And I have seen firsthand how participating in storyweaving has brought about repentance in the lives of others.  They begin taking practical responsibility to show Christ’s love, they become effective in evangelism, and there is greater Kingdom unity among them.”

Olayiwola’s observation is that out-of-class practice is especially important for assimilating the biblical storyweaving training that starts in the classroom.  Real world implementation solidifies vision, understanding, skill and genuine dependence on the Holy Spirit.

The incredible diversity throughout Africa presents many challenges for ministry.  Olayiwola has seen that some of the most common needs and challenges that storyweaving is effectively addressing are:   the lack of Bible-based discipleship, misinterpretation and misuse of the Scriptures, disunity among Christians, and making up for many less effective approaches to evangelism.   

Olayiwola’s professional training was in microbiology.  He has since served for two African ministries, and now splits his time between between serving as a Kairos workshop leader for Simply Mobilizing, and providing Weavers training under the auspices of Storyweavers Global.
